Make Icing or buy icing?

Who makes their owen iing and who buys it ready made in a pot? I admit that I somtimes cheat and buy a pot, especially for the rich chocolate fudge filling icing. I can never make that as well as they do.

I laughed when i saw this....have just made my daughter's birthday cake and covered it in this stuff! have hidden the evidence and will claim it as my own handiwork! I'm all for short cuts where possible!
