best fat for baking

I've heard people mention a brand which is meant to be the best for baking cakes, I think it's something like trax but i can't find it anywhere. Does anyone have a better clue about what I'm looking for than me?

my mum uses Trex for pastry and i tried it to make mince pies last xmas ( not with the same success as my mum...she's a better cook!) and it did make the pastry nice and light. Tesco stock it in the chiller cabinet with the butter and margarine.
Is is suitable for all kinds of baking and frying apparently (haven't tried it though). If the recipe asks for butter or margarine, you need to use 20% less because it contains no water...says on the packet!
